canadian marked 1911 mags

[Light Infantry]

I have 2 mags for the 1911 that have a lanyard loop on the base plate and have a C broad arrow stamp on the baseplate as well. One is a nice two tone body, wile the other is a bit more used and not as pronounced in the two tone.

Any idea on the value?

Not sure myself, but am interested to know as well. The ones I have all came with original guns over the years so no idea on separate price.

Original lanyard mags themselves are very desireable.

Cdn marked ones are of particular interest up here.

I assume you folks heard about the ones Canada purchased in WW1? They came with the factory magazine. When the military asked for extra magagazines, ordnance said, "but you already have a magazine with the pistol!" Apparently they were still thinking revolver!

Thats about right John, both of my WWI 1911's have an unmarked mag and the extra C broad marked extra mag
