Canadian Marked 30-06

I actually have about a half dozen boxes of this stuff and was wondering what it is worth to a collector, I have no use for it.

IMO I wouldn't bother shooting it, it's a relic now. Pass it along to someone who enjoys collecting ammo.

Thanks for the info guys, I won't shoot it. I bought it because I thought the box was neat.

On a different note, I also bought a box of really old dominion .303 215gr sp's. When I opened the box their was one soft point round, but the other 19 were fmj 1944 dated. Headstamp is 1944 at the top, D 1 Z on the bottom.

Curious what they might be.

DI Z Defence Industries a crown corporation operated by CIL 1940-5 at Brownsburg Que. Loaded with nitro cellulose powder (Z) and non corrosive Boxer primer. Just about the best .303" ammo ever made.
The Cdn made 30-06 was equivalent to US M2 Ball suitable for use in all arms and in Canada that would be US M1917 Rifle and Brg MG.
