Canadian Milsurps

I'm looking at a No1 MK111 BSA 1917 . The seller claims it was a Canadian issue . What stamps or marks should a Canadian issued rifle have ?

There were several at the HACS show in Chilliwack this spring. There were also quite a few in the Kamloops/Penticton/Lumby shows.

I guess you are talking about SMLEs though and you're right, they can be difficult to find.

It'll say 'Eh' after every shot and have the broad arrow in the 'C' stamp. snicker. Get proof of good headspace before you buy.

I only saw one at the Chilliwack show. I would have had to take out a second mortgage for that one. I do the Burnaby show every month and haven't found one yet. It's on a "Nice to have" list so all in good time.
