I was looking for a economical heavy barrel and found TNA has a CNA 20"HBAR 223 1-9 twist for $211.17. Does anyone have info on the accuracy of CNA barrels. I searched but there is not a lot of info out there on them. Maybe im hoping for to much for the price.

I have one. For the price point, it shoots well.

To note though, I had to drill out the gas port hole on the barrel as it was too small and was causing issues. Other than that - it does what a barrel should.

I've got one of their 20" government profile barrels. It shoots around an inch at 100m with my bulk 62gr reloads. It doesn't like 55 gr reloads but it is a 1-7 twist, I think, not your 1-9.

62gr is fine in a 1/9 twist.

Really depends on what you are doing. Bottom line at my elevation and in the dead of winter these projectiles will not stabilize properly. They may not keyhole, but they'll likely go from 1-2 MOA to 4-6 MOA. 2"-3" could put you out of the "A", or miss altogether. Don't believe me, how about Bryan Litz?

Thanks everyone,Ive got a match barrel from ATRS for the heavy stuff. I was looking for a economical setup for the lighter bullets, 55 ish. I think the CNA 20'HBAR with 1/9 should do that.

For only a few dollars more than the CNA barrel you can get one from IBI while their Black Friday sale is still on. Sale prices are still active right now but I don't know for how much longer.

I ordered the lighter weight 19" barrel a few days ago. For the price I didn't think it was worth getting a "cheaper" barrel.

Also the 1in8 twist will still work great with 55gr ammo.

Just my .02

I bought a 10.5" AR Barrel last year and it has served me well since installed.

I was able to obtain sub-moa 5 shots groups with reloads.

Its not a match barrel, but it does the job. I'm currently sitting at 4000-5000 rounds and accuracy is still the same

I don't think they are bad barrels at all, likely coming out of the US from one of the houses that just churns parts out. Just think that for a "Canadian" Company there is no web presence (that website of theirs tho.....) and no other retailer in Canada offers their products.

Just makes a guy think is all.

Well I got the 20" HBAR and its a very nice looking barrel with the fluttting. It is stamped MADE IN USA. need to get it out to the range and see what it does for accuracy. Happy so far for the price. Thank-you for the comments
