Canadian Rangers 180gr Accubond 308

What is the manufacturer of this ammo? Is it custom loaded (by IVI or the like), or really off the shelf commercial ammo? Thanks!

It's IVI brass with what looks to be a 180 gr accubond bullet seated in to it.I was told it was loaded for the rangers by IVI.Why would you even care as you will not be able to buy it and could make better ammo yourself?It.s ball powder and will probably change lot to lot as we have not got new ammo in 2 years even after the new gun's.New gun's with no ammo great.

It's made entirely by IVI. The bullet is just a plain cup and core soft point. The bullet they use is available from Campro.

Campro doesn't make a polymer tip.

Made by IVI using 180gr Nosler Ballistic Tip. The brass is IVI, although it's stamped 308 win instead of the NATO headstamp. Accuracy is quite good. Not sure what they use for powder.

A 180 grain BT at .308 velocities should fair well enough for anything you need to do with a .308.

I wanted to duplicate the load as well so the iron sights were “on”. I can get my info when I get home and pm you if you’re interested.
My tikka Arctic is a pleasure to shoot. No problems hitting a 10” gong at 200m with open sights.
