I had my order placed with double tap sports for some .30 Luger brass from Starline, but apparantly Starline is out of brass and there's no ETA on the next batch. (I'm guessing he did not have any in stock).

Any ideas on who has some .30 luger brass in stock?

Is .30 Luger surplus available? I keep finding .30 luger casing at my range that look like laquered steel. Berdan primed as well. Other than that Reloading is your best bet. Starline will ship your order you just may be waiting for a month or two.

"...Is .30 Luger surplus available?..." No. Epp's lists .30 Mauser ammo. Same thing. So is 7.65 Mauser.
Marstar wants $344.99 per 500 for Winchester ammo. Some times you just have to buy loaded ammo to get brass.

The StarLine web site shows it being in stock and available. If the order is less than $100 US they will send it to you. You also might want to try Epps as well for the brass - they don't show it on their web site but it wouldn't suprise me to hear they had some kicking around.

30 Luger (21mm cl)and 30 Mauser (25mm cl) are not the same.
The steel case range pick ups are 7.62 Tokarev.

Owning several thousand rounds of 7.62X25, no they aren't. I was wrong they appear to be copper washed casings? Never seen casings like them. Definitely .30 Luger, I am not a frigging noob.

That'd violate U.S. law.

StarLine has all the necessary permits for shipping large quantities of brass across the border. For consumer size orders they don't need the end-user certificates. For large orders for resale they would. I could be wrong about this but I doubt they are going to knowingly break the law and I doubt they are not aware of the pertinent rules and regulations.

Right from their site:
