I'm wondering why there isn't much a supply for parts kits in our great white north? Why must we go through the hassle of finding parts shippable or exportable from the US? I'm surprised there really isn't availability for springs, guide rods, trigger bars, connectors etc.. for common pistols, case Beretta, CZ, Glock, M&P, Ruger etc..

I'm left having to send a pistol away for repair over a broken firing pin - I don't care that its under warranty, let me buy a damn firing pin. Why do I have to deal with the hassle of paper work and possibly months (happen before when have to ship away) waiting for it to come back?

Looking for backup parts, competition parts, just want to do some of your own work? Why is it such a pain the butt?

Any insights?

PS - anyone know where I can get parts for a Beretta 92A1 or Ruger SR9?

Brownells ships just about everything for Beretta's in fact almost everything is in stock.

I think it depends if the Canadian distributors stocks parts or not, or if they are willing to deal with warranties or not. In my case, I emailed Blue Line's warranty when I needed a part for my GSG, and it was in the mail a day later, saved me time by not having to deal with Germany directly…

Other then Glock,1911, or Tanfoglio, ain't much for parts n #### in Canada....
Ruger really sucks for spare parts even in the US....they don't sell ####, want you to send them the gun for any and all repairs....
