Canadian Tire 7.62x39 1440 Case Non Corrosive.

So today in Canadian Tire in Leduc i saw cases of Chinese 7.62X39 1440 cases listed as non corrosive. Green Box with two tin cans in side. The Chinese card intop of the spam can said it was made in 71 so I'm wondering if it truly is non corrosive or if they are pulling a fast one. I did purchase a case and just am wondering if it is or not in case I need to do extra cleaning after using it. I can post some pics of the crate if need be.

I would be shocked if its non-corrosive especially give the date of manufacture. You could always pull one bullet and do the nail test.

Guess the consensus is its corrosive. Well at least the price wasn't bad and its for my first firearm so i'll get a good bang for the buck in terms of having fun with it.

Ya nothing wrong with buying corrosive ammo, just clean properly. There is tons of threads/stickies explaining this if u don't know how to. Now get out there and blast away and enjoy!

No way you are buying non-corrosive ammo in spam cans.

They are not pulling a fast one, they just dont know anything.

You should have grabbed the ones marked corrosive next to it and got an even better deal. That's what I think you have anyway

I also say it's undoubtedly corrosive.
