Was recently searching for birchwood casey shoot 'n see targets or visi'glow targets. These are easier to see for us older fellas. Not one to be found of either type in Cold Lake, and the sporting goods store in Bonnyville have various other targets. None have eight inch targets which are perfect for two things, iron sight pistol @25-50 yards, or sighting in a deer rifle @100 yards and use up to at least 300 yards as well. I cleaned out Franchere Bay of thier last pack of visiglow targets.
WAKE UP COLD LAKE MERCHANTS! These sell like hotcakes over past years at both CT and Wal Mart. (now neither store sells them!!?!?!)
I had to special order them from a store in Calgary.
And CT what ammunition monkey does your ordering?
I see a ridiculous amount of 22 rimfire (too many IMO) The only shotgun ammo is 410??? Nothing else in any gauge.
The only redeeming thing CT, you have a good variety of centrefire rifle ammo, but that's it.

Edit: This is a local needs niche that is being badly missed IMO and I don't know how you could omit this if you monitor sales.

Sounds like a reason to contact the manufactor, buy a huge order in bulk and sell them yourself if you know there is a marketplace for them and no one wants to bring them in.

Why not send them an email or letter?

I can't imagine any one from CT in Cold Lake will see this thread.

I just sent an email to Wal Mart. I'd rather not send email to CT Canada, as I believe I'll just automatically be sent thier e-flyer spam-mail.

Perhaps other local shooters will see this and stock up accordingly when they are in Edmonton/Red Deer/Calgary.
Cheers!

here we go... that CT has gone down the tubes altogether, I went there looking at their gun safes and wanted to see inside for obvious reasons, but they're all locked, thats fine. SO I hit the call for assistance, and no lie 15min later when people got tired of hearing their new paging system *ding ding ding* customer service to hunting display please... someone finally came. And he had not the slightest clue in the world, great. So I never did see inside those safes. ALSO I had been going there WEEKLY for about 2 months to see if they have some cleaning patches, thinking they were out and just have to restock...wrong. I ended up going on base and bumming some from the guys that maintain their C7's (while I was there I scored some CLP too!) WOOT

I guess you can't be surprised though, all that runs the place is a few poor teenagers with not a clue or care in the world, just waiting until they get old enough/scrape through high school so they can go work the patch like daddy... pffff

Then on top of that, theres no cashiers/tills open... you HAVE to use the self checkout, and if you go near the customer service counter you'll get dirty looks or talked to like your a P.O.S. and what for? for expecting that little brat to do his/her job? WTF? I'm done with CT here in Chilly Pond.

And I don't have much to say about Sylvestors is far to over priced... on every single item in the store IMHO... so learn to love online shopping here in the lakeland friend, woot.

sorry for the vent, but I DO feel better now!
