I was in Sail, Ottawa today for the second time in a few months. Was looking for a 20 ga Wing. There were none to be had, I get that. BUT, the three guns they did have, Remington Express/Sportsman, they are trying to flog as Wingmasters. They swore up and down that this is what a new Wing is. The Bi-Centennial version that they had, no gloss, no gold in-lays, parkerized finish and crap action; they insisted was the best gun available and that is the new standard for Wings. So my rant is as follows:
The folks at Sail, are completely out to lunch, no wonder they sell nothing,
They are perpetuating the rumor Remington quality is a thing of the past, and
they have no respect for the knowledgeable gun owner/buyer.
If anyone can shed a light on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Do the regular Wingmasters still come north???
