Canik METE, any word when they are coming to Canada?

Are these just optics cut versions of the Canik lineup? Or is there something else different about 'em too? Never heard about them until you just posted. I've got an Elite that I quite like, I could be interested in a optics-ready Elite down the road...

They are said to be improved in the grip area, some improvement with internals. Ambi slide release and the slide is cut for optics as you pointed out. They are specifically built to meet various law enforcement handgun specs worldwide...
 
I have the Canik TP9SF that I bought second hand years ago and it’s phenomenal. Thousands of rounds down the pipe and never experienced a single malfunction. It’s very accurate and SA trigger is pretty sweet. Best striker fire trigger I’ve experienced, IMO rivals some quality non-striker triggers like Jericho and CZ - I’m sure this comment will ruffle some feathers.
Hopefully we’ll see the Mete available in Canada soon.
