Hi!

I just got my Canik TP9 Elite Combat Executive and I find it very hard to rack the slide compared to my other guns.

I've read that it's possible to use a Glock 17 recoil spring kit, so, I want to know if it is indeed working and if it is recommended or not.
I plan on using this gun in IPSC, shooting in a Minor power factor of 125, but it might vary, depending on the ammo I'll get my hands on.

I've found a few sites with guide rods and/or spring kit, but none of them ship to Canada.

So, if you have either a site to recommend or have any experience with that gun and would like to share your mods, I'd be really happy to read that! :)

Thanks folks!

indeed, brand new. You are right to say it will be less stiff with time. But I'm still impress of how it is out of the box...

Shorter slides require stiffer springs, for example the OEM for a 5" 1911 in 45acp is 16lbs, a Commander is 18lbs, that might be part of it.
