Debating whether or not to grab a Canik TP9-SF, and the main thing holding me back is not knowing the size of the grip and trigger reach relative to an M&P9 or G17. I have smaller than average hands (medium/size 7 glove).

1911s and the M&P are ergonomic perfection for me in every way. The Glock 17 though, I have trigger reach issues.

How does the TP9-SF compare as far as trigger reach and grip size?

Thanks

I have shot G19’s almost exclusively for the past 5 years or so. I purchased a Canik TP9sf Elite Combat a couple of months ago and the grip is definitely smaller than the Glock, and far more 1911 like in its angle. I have smaller hands and I have to admit I’m loving the Canik grip, and prefer it to the G19 without a doubt. I find it points more naturally when presenting it on target than the Glock.
I realize the G17 grip is slightly different than the G19 but I think you will enjoy the Canik grip size if you have trouble with reach on the G17
