It's allowed in IPSC, it's just not on the Approved List for Production Division. Probably has something to do with the trigger pull being less than 5lbs.
But Striker fired can be either single or double depending on whether or not the trigger pull clocks the firing pin I think....
On global village it says they will consider it but that fact it is declared as Sao means it needs to be inspected. It didn't make the 2017 list though so I think that means April 2018 at the earliest
The IPSC Executive Council is meeting right now (or was the past few days) in Washington. Part of their agenda was the 2017 updates to the Production List, and the TP9SF was one of the models slated for approval.
Plus Vince's has said that trigger pull is not necessarily a production list requirement.... That it is more of a match compliance thing because it can change over time. Obviously the single action bit though raises question about whether or not the tp9 would ever met the requirement
