Canjar Set trigger

I can't seem to adjust the set part of the trigger to work properly. It won't fire when I use it. What am I doing wrong??

I may have an old instruction leaflet somewhere. If someone doesnt answer you here....I could check to see what I have ... I presume this is the set trigger with the small tab that protrudes from the face of the trigger shoe ....and is set by pushing ithe shoe forward?

If the set trigger won't fire the rifle, you may have to reduce the weight of pull or sear engagement. For a set trigger to work, the trigger shoe essentially slaps the trigger to fire. If there is too much sear engagement or too much resistance on the trigger, the shoe won't have enough inertia to do the job. The Canjar design works fine but can't work if the trigger, unset, is adjusted too heavy.
