Looking at one. The single loading is not a concern, but. I would like to hear something of their ability to stand up and accuracy. THANK YOU

Personally, I would save up a little more cash and buy an AR.50 or Barrett M99. They are not alot more money but in my opinion a better place to put your money. A budget .50 is not something I want to put my face behind.

I have to agree with that.

Armalite AR-50 can be bought from around 3 500.00 $ and 4 500 $ for a Barrett. Wolverine has some in stock.

Remember one thing, the next shipment of rifle will go up by a good 15 % due to Canadian Dollars vs US$

And it will be worse with Euros.

Have a Nice Zombie Day

I seen one at P&D a few weeks ago, looked a lot better then when they first came out. I also have a buddy with one and he said he likes it a lot though I haven't seen his yet. So anyone here with personal experience or this just Internet talk?

I have seen 5 of then, 3 of them were broken and the other has just been fixed, which later failed again later that day.
its nice to see stuff like this made in Canada, but not if it has a high rate of fail.
bbb

Al Simons has one in stock, saw it this morning.. Looked pretty good, kinda reminded me a windrunner.. :)

Well I'll admit I never thought much about them but the one I saw made me do a second look, was pretty sweet looking but I was more interested in the BA50 that was next to it... Guess once summer rolls around I'll be able to check out my buddies canstar, I'll keep a eye out for bolt issues.

I don't think anyone has even done a review on here, not much info on them.

I have one with 20 rounds through it. I was having issues extracting spent casings due to a rough chamber, Shane from reliable gun sent it back to Ontario for warranty work. They smoothed out the chamber and I haven't had any more issues. I have owned it for 3 years now. I've only been shooting inside of 500 yards with a zeiss scope mounted on the p.e.p.r mount. Had to use this mount to get the scope high enough to clear the bolt Handle. It goes bang every time I pull the trigger, hits what I aim at. Blowback from the brake isn't that bad and the concussion wave from the round going off is orgasmic!! Lol. I enjoy shooting it and quality is on par with the price. Plus it's nice it's all canadian made. ( don't drop the bolt out of the gun onto your bare feet while cleaning, it hurts, trust me lol)

I like shooting the Steyr HS 50. there is no blow back hitting you in the face with one of those. The brake is full width, for the full length of the brake with tabs on the very back to deflect the breeze away from the shooter. But you can feel that concussion around your whole body.

I have to agree with allanc on this one, I have an earlier one with about 100 rds through it (mostly blowing things up at 100yds or so) It had issues with the first batch of PMC ammo not going bang when it was supposed to but the next batch has been good, when I contacted the manufacturer about that he said it was ammo and they had run into the problem before with pmc. I'm going to start loading for it this summer and hopefully get a chance to streach it out a bit more and see what accuracy is like
