Hello guys, I shoot a rem700 in 308. I have a Bushnell Elite 4200 6x24x42 installed on it. I usually shoot some 168gr A-max. A while back I bought some 155gn A-max to shoot through my M305. All went good with the 305 and I also tried some in my Rem 700. For some reason I couldn't get to zero my scope at 100yds with the 155gr. I didn't thought anymore of it because I wasn't planning to really shoot more than that, it was only to see the difference on target. Then I didn't shoot for a while and a few days ago, I reloaded some 168gr to go shoot before going hunting. Now my problem---> Even with the 168gr that I used to shoot at 100yds for ever, I can't get back to my zero. I bottom out before being back to zero. I didn't change the rings, the scope, the rifle or any components of my reloading because it was still some stuff I had before I tried the 155gr. So same powder, same bullets same primers. All that coming from the same boxes from before, didn't change anything on the rifle and I can't zero like before. What am I missing? Is it possible that a turret would "lock" on a scope. It turns just great going the other way. Now my zero is somewhere around 250yds according to my hits on paper at those ranges. Current location of the shots at 100yds are 2" too high. I'm not sure where to start to look or what could of happened. Is the scope defective? Any of you guys ever had similar problems with a scope? Looking for help
