I cant decide on a new scope for my 223 rem 700. im looking at sightron 6-24 ffp, vortex gen 1 razor 5-20 Bushnell Elite Tactical 3-21 drm. or should should i spend the money again and get another vortex gen2 razor 4.5-27. the max ill be right now shooting will be 500m at my local range.

I agree. You are comparing $1200-3400
There are A LOT of options in that price range. Many of which aren't necessarily needed, but good choices.
I'd add the ATACR in that, but you lose FFP unless you go with the new model.
I have the 5-20 Razor and have few complaints about it. I do want the 4.5-27 though.
I think you need to figure out your price range first. Then ask the question.
First question should be "what kind of shooting"?

I was dead set on a Sightron LRMOA sfp. After exchanging emails with Jerry at Mystic and other mods in here, I ended up with a Bushnell Elite Tactical ERS 3.5-21x50 ffp for the kind of shooting I want to accomplish.
I just bought my scope, so I was pretty much asking the same question "what scope should I buy?".
