can't find .50 ae ammo

haven't been able to get ammo for my desert eagle .50 action express for months and months........ can anyone suggest a location that might have some in stock
 
I suspect that you will have to start re-loading. That way you get quality ammo available when you want it. Is re-loading an option you are able/willing to look at?
 
wasn't planning to reload rounds just because i'm not planning on putting that many rounds through my gun....(it's 24k gold plated want to keep it looking it's best) however at this rate i might just have to order dies!
 
I made an offer last week on a D.E. in 50 AE. The owner also has 140 rounds of ammo and some empty brass. Do you think $900 for the gun and $100 for the ammo was reasonable? ;)
 
$900 is a good price for a blued finish, but any other finish $900 is a great price. $100 for 140 rounds is pretty damn good as well. Average box of 20
(300gr. JSP) is about $40.00
