Looking for bullets to handload. Anyone seen 180SP's for a 303Brit in stock anywhere? Can't seem to find any and I've been looking all over the province in person and all over the net especially CGN sponsors. But as always someone probably knows exactly where to look.

Thanks,

Willy

The closest I've been able to find are the Hornady .312, 150 gr and 174 gr. The 174 isn't a spitzer but it'll hold you over.

I bought a fresh box of hornady 174gr FMJBT (spitzer) a while back right before I had to sell my No4. It's still sealed so if anyone wants it, I'll sell it for $30 + shipping

I'm at the point of using most anything for my 303s. It's pretty hit and miss out there. I prefer 150 gn but the only ones I have seen are Horneday and pretty pricey for popping holes in paper.

If your rifle will handle BTs okay, Trade-Ex has .303 slugs in bulk bags.

I tried those Prvi 150 FMJBT's in a bunch of my 303's and none of them liked them, groups where double or more the normal group size, I guess others have found that out too and it explains why they still have them on the shelf for sale.

They might be okay in Mosin's.

They also might do very well in Rosses.

Rosses do not have Enfield rifling but their own, characterised by very wide grooves, left-hand twist.

A lot of Rosses will handle boat-tails just fine.
