Can't turn off Vortex Sparc!?

Help! Got a used Sparc and have an interesting issue with the on/off switch. I press down on it for 5 secs, the dot turns off, but as soon as I take my finger off the switch, it clicks back on. Can't seem to find a way to press down for off without it clicking back on as soon as the pressure is off.

Any Sparc users run in to this? Wonder if there is a problem with the switch.

I turned my off by removing the batteries, so I guess it kind of forces you to deal with the problem LOL
