I'm heading out the door... 25 rounds Kent 3.5" #BBB, 50 rounds Kent 3" #3, 25 rounds Win 3" #2, Benelli SBEII... and a wicked headache. I was at a wedding reception last nite
Good Luck everbody

I'm back, with 5 Wood ducks in the bag. It was a slow start and we had a few flights and managed to get atleast one bird per flight. No bad misses, and no crippling losses. Kent Fasteel 3" #2 and Benelli Nova.

I went chasing grouse since there is no sunday hunting where we duck hunt. We had a few wild flushes, the grouse are scared.

Then we had our little car get stuck in the mud and we had to end the day on a sour note..someone helped us out, but we did get soaked in the down pour while trying to dig out. :(

Was the slowest opener I have ever seen. No big flocks, just alot of singles, pairs or small groups. Brother and I did well to bag the 7 we got. 6 mallards and 1 blue wing. We passed on the teals for a while and by the time we decided to start taking them, no more came. Still an enjoyable time none the less.
