canted base question.

Do I need a 20 MOA base with a scope with 140 MOA adjustment for long range shooting 1000 yards and more.

How much elevation do you have left right now with a 100yd zero?

Just 1000 yards. 338 Edge 300 gr bullets, I don't have the scope yet but I have a Farrell 0 MOA base.

140moa will get you to 1000 with the edge no problem and probably a lot further

My .338 Edge takes 22 MOA to get to 1000. Canted rails are hopelessly over used. I'm just as guilty as the next guy, but MOA rails are mostly needed by the .308/snowball crowd and those with scopes with no adjustment range.
