Cantilever mounts

So I woke up this morning wanting a cantilever mount for my Kel tec su 16. I recently purchased a vortex viper PST 1-4 30mm scope. I never considered a cantilever mount as I don't know squat about them. So I'm asking anyone who knows about these mounts to please school me. Whats good what to stay away from, brands, heights, QD or no, china/US, canadian? Sponsors EE? You get the jist. All the help would be greatly appreciated.
