"Finding someone to open the damn cabinet is a different story..."
I had that problem a while back so I just keep pushing the service button that sent a message over the PA system over and over again so that's all anybody in the store could hear untill someone showed up.

That's a fun game isn't it? The Tacoma CT, the service button by the ammo lockup had the button removed, I figured out how to use it still. :) :dancingbanana: :D

That CT f**ked my wife over royaly when I was out of town and couldnt do anything about it, so I hardly feel bad about it. They got far more out of her money wise than a box of shells. About $500 worth, And no they were not honest about it.

If you would like to get into it more PM me. If not, go piss up a rope :)

Take care

gimme a break man...your the FIRST person that ive ever heard of that sticks up for CT. dont you feel like a winner now:dancingbanana:

if it were a small local store then yes, i would return to pay. but at a large chain like CT, walmart, etc id take what i got for free and go back in to try and get more:D

The last time I bought ammo at a CT was for a brick of .22lr ammo a couple of years ago. I waited about 15 minutes for someone to open the display case, check my PAL, get the ammo and escorted to the cashier. The girl rang it in and up came the price for a box, not a brick. I asked if that was the right price. She rolled her eyes and asked for a price check. 10 minutes later the guy who opened up the display case for me shows up and tells her it's the right price. I asked the guy if he was sure and he said 'absolutely'. He goes on to say that I must new to shooting because .22lr ammo is really cheap when compared to 'real' ammo. I told him that he had another 'box' in the display case and asked him if he could bring it to me as I was going to buy it as well. He happily went and got it. And I happily bought it. Call me what you want............. :D

My buddy had the exact same thing happen to him except it was Woolco in North Van. Instead of getting the clerk to run back to get one more box, he sent him to bring all the stock they had! He ended up with 8000 rounds of .22lr and had cleaned them out. It was so long ago, I don't remember what it cost but was dirt cheap. It didn't take long to go through them unfortunately...

Stealing is stealing - you justify it however you want...stilll stealing.

You might spend sometime cleaning your mouth up as well.

canadian hunter312 Who is sicking up for Canadian Tire, the guy just bragged about stealing from a local owner of the store. Not sure why anyone would stand up for a theif - feel better? Should add each Canadian Tire Store is locally owned. The only guy that takes a hit is the local guy who owns the store. Canadian Tire gets paid for the inventory by the local store owner, whether he sells it or if somebody steals it.

Well I hope you teach your children better morals than you apparently seem to live by. I can just imagine a young lad going to school and telling his classmates how proud he is that his dad is a self confessed theif.

As to the above,

While your saving the world, why not call the CT that stole $586 from my wife. And yes, they lied as well.

I sent you my phone number, call me if you would like to talk further.

Take care

That is true, privately owned stores. The owner of the store I am talking about knows my name and will likely not forget it for a long time.

I still have $564 to collect from him, one way or another...

My wallet is privately owned as well. Funny how that works sometimes.
