I have a brick (500) of original CIL Canuck 22 LR standard velocity rim fire. Pristine all like new cartons and box. My question is is there any collector value ?

you would get a premium at gun shows. Just a tip: Wrap the boxes in clear plastic. Maybe leave one without as a sacrifice. Everybody and his dog will become the expert and have to open the box to make sure...not sure 0f what, but the boxes will get wrecked.

Ammo like that in good boxes do have collector value. Maybe a younger fellow starting up a collection, maybe an older fellow looking for good trading material.

Thanks for the advise . When i was a kid you could by a box of CIL shorts for 25 cents . I don't remember where this brick came from found it in the ammo locker the carton , boxes and shells are as new . Not looking to make money it just looks it would be a crime to break it up. To bad CIL is gone I grew up with this stuff when Canada was Canada.

Some people like to sell mixed matched ammo and or reloads in the cil/dominion boxs I got a box of .303 brit like that it is mostly reloads with 1 factory round nose kksp atleast the bullets are cil in the reloads brass is mixed dominion Winchester and a Canadian mk7 ball case.
