Shot my new canuck defender today, and noticed that it would occasionally hang up when pushing the pump forward. I would have to just push the pump forward a second time for the shotshell to feed properly. Has anyone else had this problem?

Could be the round is being lifted high enough, have a defender and a regulator and never had that issue however had that happen on a brand new 870 express, ended up taking it apart and giving it a good clean, there was actually metal debris in gun, once I put it back together with oil it was all good

I did notice that the little loading gate/lifter is slightly crooked towards the side of the receiver that doesn't have the ejection port. Don't know if that makes a difference

A good thing to do if you have 12ga snap caps and cycle them to see if you can see what's going on, after I finish dinner will go look at mine and see if the lifter is canted to one side

I've been cycling snap caps through the gun for half an hour, and it hasn't done it at all. I had not disassembled the gun before shooting it, and disassembled it after to clean. Maybe taking it apart fixed it. I hate it when guns have weird intermittent issues like this

Just keep shooting it and see what happens, as I said I've had good luck with cheap Turkish shotguns

Just in case it keeps doing it, I only have a few more days of warranty from the company I bought from. Does Derya have any sort of warranty?
