I should sell or give away my CCI 109 primers.

I'm slowly using up mine in a starter pistol that takes shotshell primers. Mine looks like this:

I'm confused here CCI 109 are the same as 209 not 57's as stated here earlier if I remember right?? or am I wrong

Your right got by me also CCI 109 changes up to CC209 . same size.

I was a little confused by this too so went and dug in my "Stash" of shotgun components. With my faulty memory and fast typing, I am an excellent example of why you shouldn't believe everything you read on internet forums.
My Canuck paper 12 ga. hulls are indeed made for standard size "209" primers, just "short" ones. My old Gevelot 16 ga. paper hulls are made for the "Remington size" smaller primers. The old CCI Shotshell primers I have are marked "Remington size" and "157" NOT 109. Sheesh. Sorry about that.

A lot of Gevelot paper shotshells are a Berdan type primer, not a battery cup type.
I have a stash of primed 2 1/2 inch Gevelot paper 12 gauge.

I corrected an earlier post I made, CCI 157, not CCI 109 is the smaller, old Remington diameter.
