I just bought one of these on impulse. Looks and feels so cool, but I have to admit I am a bit intimidated. Who owns one? Thoughts, tips tricks or advice?

I don’t own one but if you’re feeling a bit wary about recoil you might want to start out with some light loads before you get into buckshot or slugs, easy way to get used. Ever seen someone give a 12g to a new shooter with a full power load? Not a good way to start someone off.

Just shoot it, my Sinsinati version is no problem with 2 3/4" 1 oz slugs. The birds head stock looks really cool and fits in my atv rear cargo box perfectly. I do recommend shooting from the hip at first at least, and I actually like to shoot it from shoulder height and not up in my face. Still accurate this way for me out to 15 yards. I usually run it with a normal stock however as it's more accurate and faster.

Push with your support hand and pull with your strong hand. Unless you have arms like an 11 year old Peurto Rican girl and never had a glass of milk you'll be just fine.

Thanks for all the good advice. I had the gun out to the range and man, it is fun to shoot. I started out shooting from the "hip" (more like the ribcage) with low recoil buckshot and low recoil slugs. The recoil shooting low recoil ammo from this position was very manageable. Then I switched to holding the gun up, aiming down the barrel and keeping the grip well away fro my face. No problem. The low recoil ammo was quite pleasant to shoot, and I was surprised how accurately I could shoot at about 10 metres.

Then I switched to regular buckshot. It was manageable from the hip and while holding the gun up an aiming (again keeping it well away from my face). The gun was hard to hold onto while shooting regular strength buckshot but I think I will install a "Shockwave" style strap on the pump for a little extra control.

I can't imagine shooting magnums through this, but I have seen it done on YouTube.

Definitely not regretting this purchase. It is a blast to shoot!
