This is a frequent question, and I think there is a "sticky" on it.
You are probably used to attaching a pic to an email, right? No muss no fuss. Well, It doesn't work like that on any internet from. That's where the confusion lies.
The trick is that you are not posting an image, but a link that provide's direct access to your a web based image hosting server album page that contains your photo.
1. Open an account with photobucket or some other form of image hosting.
2. Upload the image you want to eventually display on CGN to the image hosting site from your PC. Name it something unique.
3. Once uploaded, cut and paste the URL of the image on to your CGN post.
* There a couple of options here. either just a link will appear ](w ww.photobucket/image/blah blah blah) - good for those with dial up,
or
The one that starts IMG(w ww.photobucket/image/blah blah blah) IMG
*This is the one that you want if you would like to see the image right away.
When in doubt, go to one of the post's with a pic, look up the history of the CGN'r who made the post, and instead of the pic, you will see the line of code to which I am referring.
It takes a bit of practice. I hope this helps.
