Has someone on the Forum bought one and taken it to the range ?

It would be interesting to learn how they shapre up, and what to expect.

How do you rate it ? Compared to Levtac, Rossi, Marlin, Henry ?

For example the Levtac is ok, but you really need to do some upgrades to get good performance. Henry is superb out of the box.

Are these Turkish made firearms? If so I don’t think they will be the same quality as a Henry etc.

But depending on the application, they may be good enough.

Of course, I’ve never even seen one! :)

Turkish shotguns can often be "good enough" and usually the price reflects that.

The Canuck Wrangler seems to be a new outing for Turkish manufacturers, I haven't seen them do a Lever action before.

The price for these is not Henry money, but not cheap either, so I am curious as to the quality of these builds.

I would like to handle & inspect one of these units meself. At least they have steel receivers, barrels and internals. The Rossi type bolt mounted
safety would be easy to replace for me, but the slower 1-18" twist of the barrel be a concern as I prefer heavier hardcast boolits in
the 170-200 gr range in a 357 mag.

I just bought one of these with the 18.5" Barrel and Brushed Nickel finish with laminate stock. The "Jurassic" I think? I love it!

Put 100 Rounds of S&B .357 Mag through it with no issues at all

Also put about 100 rounds of assorted .38 special through it as well. Only rounds that failed to feed also failed to feed in my friend's Chiappa (short cartridge length). Anything over 150 gr. fed with no issues

The iron sights were dialed in right out of the box, this thing is an absolute tack driver. I originally wanted to put a red dot on the rifle, but am now reconsidering due to how much I enjoy the iron sights.

Action is smooth and felt better in store than the Henry I handled. NOTE: I handled one Henry and 5 Canucks, not all of the Canucks felt smoother than the Henry.

Based on my experience I would absolutely recommend this gun. I picked it up for just over $1000 on boxing day.

My only complaint is that the drilling and tapping on the barrel doesn't seem to match other manufacturers patterns for rail mounts. I will be contacting O'Dell Engineering in the new year to see about getting a rail through them and will try to update here when I do. 1000006169.jpg

If anyone has more questions I'll try to check back and answer them!

Just for anyone trying to find information on these guns, I'm pretty sure they're HugTek/GForce Arms rebranded for Canada.
I see them listed for $450-650 in the states. Looks way cheaper there, but $650 puts you at near a $1k Canadian, so not exactly bending Canadians right over, but still a bit higher listed price in country vs usa.
