cap-n-ball value?

I have one of the orriginal Gregoreli Ubherti
replica cap & ball pistols,
with a four digit serial number in .36 cal.
I was wondering what the value of this might be in todays market.
It has been shot with @ 200 rounds, and is in good working order.
 
An "original replica"? "today's market"? I don't know quite what to say to that. I think you may have overestimated it's value...... just a tad.:p

So, you could probably get about 150-200, depending on model, finish, and barrel length. They were never expensive, and are not collectible. Collecters collect the originals. What you have, is a shooter.

If you feel bad.... sorry to burst your bubble. I have two .32 caliber vest pocket pistols, nickel finish, spur triggers, octagon barrels, both are original and predate 1880, and I don't think I paid more than $350 for either of them. Original Cap and Ball revolvers are still pretty affordable too, $1200 - $2000. Vast numbers were sold, and hardly anybody ever throws out a gun, unlike say.... an old beatles album. So... there are alot of them out there. You see a fair number of people in cowboy action actually shooting these old guns.

Specific details.
1. Blued, stainless or nickel?
2. Barrel length?
3. Octagon or round barrel?
4. Round or square back trigger guard?
5. Last, but certainly not least..... Model????

so if i asked $150. with kit i would not be out of line.
Oh yeh, 1851 navy 7.25" octagon barrel.
blueing pretty much gone, no rust.

It bluebooks for about that, but I'd ask for $200 shipping included and give yourself room to negotiate, or drop the price say...... ten bucks a week....if you are a motivated seller. There's one guy who's had a couple guns similar to yours, but with good bluing, on the EE for quite some time at $225 with no takers.

Unless, by kit you mean that you have the detachable shoulder stock that was available with it. If you have that, I'd ask at least $450 for the set.
