car parts washer to clean sks?

See people are using various solvents to initially clean the sks. Was considering dumping all the pieces in my fiends parts washer. Any reason not to? FYI the fluid is sold by the bucket at lordco.

i wont say i have or have not seen a pile of C7's and C8's inside one of those fancy washers......... but i will say i heard a rumor they work awesome.

I've used a garage high pressure steamer to get rid of heavy cosmoline.

Your experience may be different but I washed a new firearm in my parts washer at work and for my day to day job the tank is pretty clean. Buy when I assembled the firearm I noticed tiny micro scratches in the finish which I assume was from debris in the solvent or brush. Just remember to use clean solvent and brush.
