Caracal 9mm pistol from the UAE (review)

Problem is barrel would have to be a little longer is only 104mm would need to be 106mm. this is due to our wonderful laws.

That's odd that they didn't consider the Canadian gun market. They're targeting so many other countries across the globe. I wasn't aware of this legal requirement in Canada. Thanks for sharing.
 
The grip is very 'long" from front to back, more than is needed. Basically it is a Glock with a nicer trigger.

Saw them at SHOTSHOW this year, nothing really pulled me into there booth, but the lovely Ladies handing out cataloges and Pens! I actually have the pen right next to the labtop,haha! They were really pulling to get into any country they could, I would not doubt after a brief talk to them about barrel length, that next year there will be a model with approriate lenght barrell. I can't really tell you more than that as the ladies were very very distractful! Dale Z!
 
Similar to the Glock? Perhaps, both were designed by Wilhelm Bubits who also designed the Steyr M and S.
 
Sights suck. Trigger pull is good. Rear sight is integral part of the firing system = stupid.
 
I have a friend who was shooting this pistol in 9mm.
He loves it. It is quicker to target then Glock, and recoil is less, also trigger more superior to Glock. Caracal is made in Germany now, so quality should not be an issue.
