Carbon fibre Senator stock (New Zealand) on tikka t3 Superlight

review - brand new stock from senator stocks New Zealand. Exposed carbon finer, same fill as McMillan uses in their edge stocks. This is a molded replica, exact size and shape as tikka factory synthetic, down to the grip and fore end texture. The weight on my Canadian tire kitchen scale is 21 ounces, 1/2lb lighter than the factory synthetic and 4 ounces lighter than my McMillan hunters edge. Does not come with a recoil lug, but has stainless stufpds for sling. The stock is very good looking, and very rigid. Not sure the brand of recoil pad, but it is a real pad not a flip flop.

With wire transfer fees, exchange and shipping about $1050, time was about 4 months to my door. Decent guys to deal with, no issues.

I'm on the fence between my McMillan hunters edge, which matches the ergonomics of my other stocks, or the carbon fibre senator stock. I put listed the senator on the EE

I have a couple mates, in new Zealand with that stock, both are very happy, and have given it a good workout, over the last few years, I think I might order one in for my finlight, when I am next down there.

A finnlight in one of these stocks should rival a carbon lite!
