Any one else got a Carcano M91 long rifle with a MBT at top an eagle proof stamp on under side of rear sight? It also appears on underside of barrel just behinde front barrel band. I can't find this on the 91/41, any clues ?
It's a maker's mark: Metallurgica Bresciana. Usually found on chamber, other areas of the barrel and some components. Two style are supposed to exist: MBT as is or MBT within a box.
