has anyone here ever closely compared an old italian carcano and the sporterized cooey version? Because i recently aquiredone of the cooey versions and an trying to finish it. it needs the the sling mounts and the but plate and i am wondering if they would be the same as the regular carcano so i could just order them of ebay or something. Thanks

Marstar lists front swivels, that appear to be heavily rusted, for a 1938 Carcano at $10 each. Same price for rear swivels they're out of stock on. Mind you, the Eaton's Carcanos were W.W. I rifles. Same rifle but re-chambered.
