My local Canadian tire has a batch of "Carcano Infantry Rifles" for sale and wondering if these are any good? Did a couple searches here but haven't found much and I know nothing about these rifles. They have a 16.5" barrel and a fold out bayonet. Any thoughts?

Marstar presently has a "two for $700" sale on right now.

They also have enblocs.

The biggest issue you will have is to find cartridges with the proper diameter .268 in bullets.

Most of the commercial factory available is using .264 in diameter bullets and accuracy sucks.

Sorry, they seem to be gone

If you have the chance to try to pick a good one, I would. I already have one, it's in rougher shape on the exterior, but they were like $350 so that's to be expected. I know if gun shows ever start again and one came up I would probably pick up another one. One thing to note (aside from the bullet diameters mentioned above) is the sights are set up for 300 yard zero, so expect to hit quite high at any range less than that. I added a bit of JB weld to the front sight to make it taller and am now hitting POA at 100 yards
