I took my long rifle to a buddys place to see what she can do & I am impressed. The bore is pretty rough & I was shooting norma ammo with the .264 bullets so I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong. I wasn't shooting at paper but I can definately say its minute of small pumpkin! Every shot right on the money, I love it! Very happy! Now lets see if I can get a carbine.

Just curious, what do you mean by Western "Bay of Pigs stuff?"

The CIA backed invasion force at the Bay of Pigs used Garands, M1 carbines,BARs and BMGs. Lee H Oswald reportedly used WCC 6.5 mm Carcano ammo.

Bay of Pigs invaders had special CIA contract 30-06 ammo with a sanitized headstamp.

I always thought that the 6.5 Western ammo was made for all the Italian rifles in Greece after 1945. then they had a nifty little civil war between the communists and the good guys. I wish I could find some more of that ammo as it was goood.

Anyhow it was supplied to the good greeks, along with US weapons and even 'advisors'.
