Thanks Greg.

Course Fee: ZERO!!!!!!! :dancingbanana:

Here's a photo of Ernest presenting me with my certificate:

(I didn't have the chance to take any other photos today......)

Tomorrow we head out to Oxford, NC for the actual match on Friday & Saturday.

Shot 8 out of 16 stages today and all I can say is WOW!!!!!

I had heard that it was the 'not to miss' match of the year and it now I can say that that's an understatement.

I've taken a bunch of photos but I'll post them later. In the mean time, here's a video of me shooting Stage 2 - 'Return to Roscoe's'

My raw time was 16.89 (I had a 'trigger freeze' on the second 'drop turner') and regrettably, I had a hit on the 'non-threat' on the distant bank of targets. Final score was 26.39.

WOW !!!

great idea for a stage prop using that cable wheel.... man I got's to get me one of them for our range :) :)

good shooting, quick question, what activated the target to your right that turned when you shot at it ??

The left hand popper activated the right drop-turner and the right hand popper activated the left hand drop-turner. The left hand drop-turner exposed twice.

Just got back from the BBQ & awards presentations. I ended up 13th out of 39 shooters in SSP/EX. Considering that I only moved up to Expert in SSP less than three weeks ago, I'd say that it's a pretty respectable finish......

...BTW, my buddy Gary from Michigan, who I've been rooming with the past week, is the 2008 Carolina Cup ESR Division Champion! Here's a photo of him being presented his trophy. (Gary is on the left)
