To anybody who’s running a BTX for backpack hunting, how are you carrying it on your pack?
I’ve got a BTX/95 with Swaro armour and am trying to find a padded pouch big enough to fit it in. I’ve looked at marsupial but they don’t have room to fit the scope with the armour on. I want the armour left on the scope while I’m using it and as added protection for falls/accidents etc while it’s on the pack.
Anybody know of any padded pouches that will fit the scope and armour that I can then attach to the pack OR a pack that has a pocket big enough to fit the BTX?
I’m leaning towards the Kifaru Fulcrum and running the scope in the center between the wings as the wing pockets aren’t big enough to fit the BTX but I still want a pouch or some sort of padding.
I’m new to hunting packs so any advice on ways to carry the BTX on a pack would be great.
