Hi guys,

I'll be getting my DPMS Oracle in the mail soon, and I am looking for a good quality/ well priced detachable carry handle sight for the rear and a detachable A2 post for the railed gas block on the front (preferably aluminum for weight reasons). Not looking to spend a ton, since its a cheap AR but still wanting good parts.

Cheers

Would look in the EE for LMT sights being sold off. Might be able to get a good deal on the front and rear one. This also allows you to still mount a holosight or red dot in between with a cowitnessed rear iron sight. The sights are aluminum. If nothing else maybe just the front sight and then a cheaper carry handle. Lots of options.

I have the rear LMT sight on my Armalite. You can see it here. It cowitnesses with the M21 sight. Takes care of any fade out problems with the M21 until I get the option that adds light to the reticle. This rifle currently has a regular A2 front sight.

Here's the removable LMT front sight on the LMT. As noted above I currently have the rear one on the Armalite.

308 on the right still has the removable front and rear sight. Shown so you get an idea of what the combo looks like.

Just some suggestions.

Worth a read for other ideas:

Also found a LMT front sight in the EE asking $45. I know not super cheap but.. it never is. You may just want to put the money towards a good red dot sight instead.

Thanks Epoxy. I like the look of that LMT front. I'll have to find that one in the EE. 45$ isn't that bad really.

Forgot to change my other post. They are aluminum not polymer. The only negative is the large tightening knob on the left side. I've seen some US mods to take care of that.

Yep defiantly a big "knob" or as I would like to say a fireball :p
Back on topic I wish that a company would make a quick release version of that and oh ya Daniel Defense makes one also.
