Boomtown Main St.
There will be two matches on Vancouver Island held back to back in August . The Valley Regulators Cowboy Action Shooting Club will hold their "Showdown in the Valley" island championships at their Boomtown Cowboy Action shooting range which is located at the Courtenay Fish and Game Protective Association facilities on August 2nd through August 4th. The Victoria Frontier Shootists will hold their Headquarters "Goldrush at Salmonella Gulch" on the following weekend, August 10th and 11th.
There will be free dry camping available at both matches for participants. Camping will be available at Boomtown from Thursday Aug 1 through to Wednesday August 7th. There will be practice bays left set up for those who would like to do some shooting. There will be free camping at Headquarters at the Victoria Fish and Game Malahat Range from Tuesday Aug 6th to Aug 16th on a first come first served and space available basis.
This provides an opportunity for a camping holiday on the Island for those who would like to take part in these great matches. I can be contacted by PM for more information. Hopefully, the provided camping opportunity will help to off set the ferry costs to the Island.
You do not have to be an "Islander" to join in.
