What do you guys use to transport your 30/32" barrelled cannons??

My .338 barely fits in the long pelican/Nanuk. You you take the stock off?

Unless someone goes out of their way to try and crush it. The case will flex under VERY heavy load and that can lead to damage inside.

Case is fine though.

I will no longer fly with scope attached to rifle.

Check with airline on what they will allow... seems to change.

get a customs sticker for that scope as proof you had it in Canada

otherwise when travelling to the USA upon your return either border guard may confiscate the scope and the USA

regulations seem to change every so often and they think a reticle with more than a dot in it is a military version and onto the

holding area it CAN go

You trust the Plano on an airline?

Different questions - I use centerthegroup soft cases for vehicle transportation - pelican cases for airlines ... with the scope in my carry-on! Tools stay in the pelican case to reattach the scope. Seen some examples of rifles scopes damaged in hard cases for airline or courier use - almost seemed deliberate. This is why I remove my scope and take it in a carry-on.
