Case for Ruger SR-22?

I'm looking to buy a Ruger Sr-22 soon and was checking out soft cases for it.
I'm assuming anything that is meant to accommodate an AR-15 should work... right?
Also, I've been very discouraged to see that inexpensive, quality stuff that sells for around $20 across the border (like Uncle Mike's cases) goes for at least twice that online in Canada. Local shops are even more expensive and absolutely nothing is less than $60 bucks...
What is everyone else using for their SR-22s that is affordable and decent quality?

Go to Bass Pro in Vaughn,They have a redhead case that fits perfect with a red dot installed,17-18 buck I believe. They also have a Ruger case thats a little more expensive.

If you want cheap go to Bass Pro like cayeon stated, or LeBarons has some decent but cheap ones as well. I a m also sure that local dealers or gunshops would have the equivalent. I bought an "assult rifle" case as LeBarons the other day. No sH!t that is what it was called. It has handy mag pouch on the front, I believe I paid around $40 on sale.

Wholesale Sports has a nice Uncle Mike's case with lots of pockets on the outside for accessories, mags, etc. They have dual zippers so you can lock it. They are $40 and fit my SR22 perfectly with a scope mounted on it. They call it a tactical case. For the money it is good quality.

Wholesale Sports has Gunmate soft cases for just over $20,cheap,they come in different sizes.Bought a small one for my model 39 cooey and it's perfect for my son's 597 vtr and would be great for an SR-22.Actually have I have 5 of them now,they make a model for shot guns.Fits my 870 like a glove.

SR-22 Case

Canadian tire, $16.00 for hard shell case. I use them all all my rifles. It even fits my scoped mini-14 target. SR-22 is no problem. Unless your heart is set on a soft case that is.

That's what I just got. It was $19 though... still pretty good deal for what it is. In fact it seems like a GREAT bargain, IMO.

The $ CAD may be at parity with the $ USD, but stuff is still cheaper in dollar terms in the US, which sucks.

I use a padded 36" Allen soft case for my SR-22, fits great.
