I've got a chance to pick up a Marlin 336 chambered for .219 Zipper. It's pretty much exactly what I've been looking for in walking or carrying varmint gun. Now since ammo is almost impossible to get I'll have to reload. I've been reloading rifle for years but only in stuff like .223, .243,.270 nothing out of the normal. The .219 is based on the .30-30 caseing so I'll have to form the Zipper brass from them. How much is envolved is sizeing brass down from .30 cal to .22 cal? Redding is the only company I can find that currently makes dies for the Zipper and I'm wondering if the set has everything to take the brass down in size that much. I could also use .25-35 Win brass but figured it would be easier to find the .30-30 brass. Any info on this would be appreciated.
