Hi,
Somebody know where to find Bone Charcoal 10-28 in Canada.

Brownell's use to have some, but shipping is quite expensive.

Thanks

Check the garden supply places that cater to the higher end gardeners, ie: the Rose fanatics, the Orchid growers, and like exotic plant fans.

I'll take it on faith that the 10-28 part of the description, is the screen size of the resulting particles after processing.

Worst case, you end up cooking off a bunch of bone in a retort, crushing and screening it to get what you want.

I always just bought bone meal (usually from garden supply places) and made my own charcoal. Sealed it in a crucible and cooked it for a couple hours at 1500 degrees. In addition to bone meal, I also used powdered milk.

I buy mine from Ebonex in Chicago. I think it is in 40lb boxes. The product is reasonably priced but shipping is expensive. I use a mixture of 1 part bone, 2 parts wood so a box goes a long ways.
