Right now I am using RCBS case lube. The gel stuff that came with my rockchucker kit. But I am looking to speed up that process. What is everyone using? Thinking about trying some of the spray on stuff. What works that is quick to use and doesnt leave a huge mess behind?

i use the lyman spray.
comes in an aerosol can.
i stand up my casings in the case rack and give one quick spray from each side of the rack.
it lubes 50 casings in about 5 seconds.
this method works for me since i only neck size so i dont bother much for lubbing the entire case, i focus more on the the upper portions,necks.

I've tried a number of various products over the years and have found Imperial Sizing Die Wax second to none.
i bought a small tin of this stuff a while back, and have tried it a couple of times, but every time i use it, it feels like there isn't enough lube on the case and i don't want to stick a case in my die, so i don't push it.
when you use it, do you notice a difference in regards to the amount of force needed to run it thru the die as compared to a lube pad's lube?
i was told by one gunshop salesman to rub it into my fingers then lightly rub the case neck and shoulder, while another guy said to only rub the case body and to not get any on the shoulder.
suffice to say, i always pull out my lube pad first and don't tend to look at the tin of imperial anymore.
Fast to use as you lightly spritz a tray at a time, easy to make too.
Buy a 500 ml bottle of 90% rubbing alcohol at shoppers, $5 bucks +- and a 4 oz (125ml) bottle of anhydrous lanolin from a health food place $10 +- . Mix these together and presto,,a lifetime supply!
Alternatively you can pay $US 8 bucks plus shipping for a 4 oz bottle from Cabelas.
Hint; warm the alcohol by placing it in a chafing dish (steel bowl) and immersing the bottom of the bowl in HOT water. "You don't want to warm 90% alcohol on the stove,, fire". This allows easy mixing of the lanolin.
Once mixed, the lanolin remains in solution indefinitely.

Chemically, lanolin is a wax, that is a mixture of esters of fatty acids with high molecular weight alcohols. There are more than 180 different acids and 80 alcohols identified[citation needed]. The melting point is about 40 °C (104 °F). It is insoluble in water but forms very stable emulsions with it. At one point, the name Lanolin was trademarked as the name of a preparation of sheep and pig fat and water. [1]
So, how this works is that alcohol is a carrier that allows you to spritz a light sheen of the solution on the cases. Alcohol then quickly evaporates leaving the wax. I spritz 50 cases at a time using a plastic ammo tray, and when done toss the tray in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes. This is safe to do as you're only dealing with lanolin.

If I'm FL sizing a couple of hundred brass that I picked up at the range I use PAM lightly sprayed onto a dollar store foam mat in a flat dollar store tuppaware. Works great and is an extremely fast process.
If I'm only neck sizing say 40 cases I will apply a little Lee lube with a Q tip. I been using the same tube of Lee lube for 18 months now.
I like them Lee collet dies. No lube required.

I put my brass in a small bucket,2-3 spray's,and then spin'em round to get it all over.
It does seperate over time but I just shake the bottle.
I have put lead pellet's in it to help the mixing, just as I do in my bottle's of Breakfree.

When I was having some difficulty locating more Imperial, on my next shopping trip at P&d while in the Edmonton area, I did pick up and try some of the Hornady Unique. While Imperial is my first choice, Hornady Unique is a close second.

It's made by Redding now. Problem is, that a can lasts so long, the manufacturer of it changes too. Also, the tectonic plates of the Earth can move quite a ways before you need another can. Redding solved that situation... smaller cans.
No kidding ?? Back in the early 70's a pyramid selling outfit was putting mink juice in makeup and selling it (rhetorically), for obscene prices. Now they're lubing cases,,and boots,, with it
