Case markers for brass

Like dpet fabrication what do you use to mark you brass with felt markers to keep it from getting mixed up at a PRs shoot or at the range

I just use a sharpie in whatever colour I assign to that specific gun and mark the brass in the extractor groove. Haven't had an issue yet

The groove is a good spot to mark, avoid the body or head or you'll get ink residue in your chamber/on the boltface. I use my runout gauge to spin the cartridge.

Agreed, but they are pricey for what they are. I have one and love it, but taking the time to just mark the extractor groove works too
