Hello again, I have a RCBS vibratory cleaner and a bag of walnut media. What steps do you people take. #1 tumble #2 deprime #3 resize #4 trim, this sound good? Also I was wondering if the media was reusable , and if so how many times. I've been reading my Speer #14 manual , but can't find these answers. And the internet is all over the place.. Thanks

If first time for fresh brass this is how I go
1)deprive if once fired
2)uniform flash holes and full length size
3)after fl size I chamfer the top of brass and debut. I also use Vld cutter for inside of neck.
4)uniform the primer pocket and take out any crimp (military brass)
5) run through crushed walnut media in tumbler

If already fired by me after these other previous steps then it depends on bolt or semi auto.

Precision rifle
Deprime the case and prime on upstroke of press using collet die for neck sizing only.
Check brass for defects
Reload case and go.

Semi auto
Full length size
Check case length and trim as necessary
Clean through tumbler to get out lube for sizing(you can use something like Hornady one shot which will eliminate this step)
Prime case on press
Reload and go.

Great, I have about 1800 once fired brass 1200 from by su16 and the rest from my XCR , which is what I'm now shooting, as I just got the rbcs supreme kit , I'm not sure if a primer pocket uniformed comes with it , I'm gonna open the box and see . No military brass.

You may find that some 223 factory loads have a crimp in the primer. You will need to remove this to reload.
